You must have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our clientele efficiently.Īs a Mechanic you would be responsible for maintaining the equipment we rent. We are in search of skilled Equipment Mechanics that have the ability to function well as part of a team. Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day.Ability to sit for at least 4 hours per day.Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours per day.Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 75 lbs.Knowledge of winch operations, hazmat transport and placarding preferred.Knowledge of GVW’s, state regulations regarding height and weight maximums.Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or any Cresco ManagerĮducation, Experience and Required Skills, Including Certificates, Licenses and Registrations.Follow all Cresco Operational Procedures and QC Standards.Inspect equipment and trucks for safety decals and compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working order.Check equipment for damage, record hours used, mileage and fuel levels for billing purposes.Load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.Determine equipment available for rental.Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.

Ensure accuracy of rental contract information prior to dispatching driver.Maintain customer relations via phone and fax, and making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment location.Coordinate transportation demands for equipment needs on a normal and emergency basis.

Responsible for scheduling drivers and organizing the daily dispatch of all equipment for the branch.

Previous dispatch and customer service experience in the equipment rental/construction industry and/or related field preferred.
